It is the intent of the Government to place a delivery order with Wang Federal, Inc.'s FY97 GSA schedule contract on a sole-source basis for Honeywell operating systems software packages for Honeywell Dual DPS 8/70,Level 6 and DPS 6/78-1 computer systems CE0369, TN5377, TN2320, TN2322, TN2327 and NK1477. These systems are required by the Naval Education and Training Management Support Activity (NETPMSA) Pensacola. Operating systems software will be provided for the period 01 October 1996 through 30 September 1997. Wang Federal, Inc. is the only responsible source who can provide the required software licenses. All responsible sources may submit concise documentation as to their ability to provide the required software licenses, as well as financial and technical information, which shall be considered by the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia. If no affirmative written responses advantageous to the Navy are received within forty-five (45) calendar days after publication of this notice, a GSA schedule delivery order will be issued to Wang Federal, Inc.. No contract award will be made on the basis of information received in response to this notice. The Navy will not pay for any information provided.
