23 -- LEASE AND MAINTENANCE OF COMMERCIAL VEHICLES SOL DASW01-97-B-0002 POC Contact Contract Specialist LaWanda R. Lipscomb, (703) 693-5012 The Defense Supply Service-Washington has a requirement for contractor to provide lease of thirteen (13) Commercial Buses for the Motor Transport Directorate, United States Army Service Center, The Pentagon. The IFB shall be for the initial base year with three (3) option years. Contractor shall provide five (5), nineteen (19) passenger buses, six (6) twenty-one (21) passenger buses and seven (7) twenty-six (26) passenger buses. All maintenance (minor and major repair) shall be the responsibility of the contractor. Contractor shall ensure all vehicles are validly registered with the District of Columbia Department of Motor Vehicles and shall have D. C. U.S. Government tags, registration cards, as well as DC inspection stickers, and shall be renewed as required. Vehicles shall meet all State and Local laws for operation on public highways. Terms of use of these vehicles shall permit the government to use the equipment 24 hours per day, 7 days per week for the duration of the contract.
