The Air Combat Command Contracting Squadron (ACC CONS SQ) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Geac Computers Inc. for the deinstallation and packaging of the Geac ADVANCE Automated Library System (to include all system hardware and software) at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota; and the shipping reinstallation of the complete system at Lajes Field. Requirement is for the reinstallation to result in a turnkey automated library system inclusive of the shelflist conversion to an automated database and staff training on Geac ADVANCE system. Because the Geac ADVANCE system operates on proprietary software of Geac Computers Inc., there is no practical way of obtaining services from any other source. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals/quotations. Interested companies must submit information identifying their capability to provide the required service. This information will only be considered if clear and convincing documentation, including pricing documentation, is received within 15 days of this notice. Telephonic responses and responses containing insufficient information will not be considered.
