G -- ON-SITE MANAGEMENT OF A FITNESS CENTER SOL DTFA11-96-R-00197 POC Contact Albert Lee, Contracting Officer, (206) 227-2849, or Kenneth Hancock, Contracting Specialist, (206) 227-1335 The Federal Aviation Administration, Renton, WA plans to solicit and award a contract for a Fitness/Wellness Center Coordinator to provide on-site management of a fitness center with the capacity of up to 50 people. The coordinator shall plan all fitness center activities including aerobics classes, weight training, wellness and nutrition programs, and other programs based on user interest. The Screening Information Request (SIR) will be issued on or around August 23, 1996. Responses to the SIR shall be used to screen qualified vendors. Vendor qualifications include but are not limited to: (1) Experience of offeror in the conduct of corporate wellness, nutrition, and fitness programs; (2) Educational and experience of personnel assigned to conduct the programs including individual certifications that will be required of all in place personnel; (3) Record of verifiable successful experience in provision of corporate wellness, nutrition, and fitness programs by the offeror; (4) Record of verifiable successful experience by the offeror in the management of corporate wellness, nutrition, and fitness programs; (5) Record of verifiable successful conduct of corporate wellness programs concerning individuals assigned to conduct the program; (6) Ability of the offeror to procure liability insurance, $1 million minimum.
