G -- PARENTING PROGRAM Sol RFP 144-0145 due 091996 POC Beverly Weissinger, Supervisory Contract Specialist, (914) 386-5855 ext. 133, FAX (914) 386-5055 Solicitation number RFP 144-0145 will be issued on August 19, 1996 with a closing date of September 19, 1996 at 2:00 p.m. for a Comprehensive Parenting Education Program for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution at Otisville, New York. This program will include inmates housed in the camp unit and inside of the secure perimeter of the institution. The contractor will develop, coordinate and instruct a comprehensive program in Parenting Education which is comprised of patenting education classes, structured visiting room activities and coordination with appropriate social services agencies for 30 hours per week. The contractor must possess at a minimum a Bachelor's Degree and three (3) years of specialized experience. The contract period of performance will include a base period from time of award through September 30, l1997 with up to four (4) one year option renewals. Requests for the solicitation must be in writing to the Contracting Officer via mail or FAX. Telephone requests will not be accepted. This requirement will be 100% set aside for small business.
