Bangor, Maine 04401-3055 N -- ENGINEER AND INSTALL CATV DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM FOR 22 BUILDINGS
(34 DROPS) AT THE MAINE AIR NATIONAL GUARD SOL DAHA17-96-R-2010 DUE
092096. POC Contracting Officer, MSG Robert Busch, 207/990-7419.
Engineer and install CATV distribution system for 22 buildings (34
drops) at the Maine Air National Guard, Bangor IAP, Maine using present
utility poles and both existing and proposed underground conduit on
location. This system will be fed from building 505 (Headquarters) and
will require 750 MHZ transmission capability to all points. This
system should be capable of two-way signals (to building 505 from an
drop). Install all needed cable and hardware (e.g. amps, feed points,
etc.) to implement this system. All building feed points are to be
installed and properly terminated in each building's utility closet.
All interior drop locations will be terminated with flush mount jacks
(or surface mount jacks if feed cannot be dropped in interior walls.)
Installation must comply with NEC standards. This system must allow for
future expansion to new buildings. Remove existing hard-line that is no
longer in use. Test all drops to ensure proper reception. Reception
should not show any snow, interference or poor audio. Picture quality
should be P-5. The vendor will test the entire distribution system for
RF leakage and ensure no interference. See Numbered Note 1. When
calling, be prepared to state name, address and solicitation number.
All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
