The work requires all necessary labor, materials and equipment to construct new parking spaces adjacent to Bldg. No. 710. The work includes removal and disposal of soil to designated spoil areas, provide suitable fill material, aggregate base course and asphalt surface course, construct cast in place concrete curbing, construct retaining structure, stripe parking spaces, and seeding of disturbed areas. The contract will contain a provision for a winter shutdown if the work cannot be completed prior to November 15, 1996. This is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures and only a payment bond will be required. Award will be based solely upon price and price related factors. The SIC is 1771, the small business size standard is $7 million. The estimated cost range for the project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This project will be unrestricted. There is no charge for plans and specifications; however, prime contractors will be limited to two sets and subcontractors to one set each.
