On or about Wednesday, August 7, 1996, the United States Postal Service, Windsor Facilities Service Office, 6 Griffin Road North, Windsor, CT will issue a solicitation for a design/build project to complete parking area improvements in Providence, Rhode Island (West River Street). Sealed offers are due on or before Wednesday, September 4, 1996 no later than 4:00 p.m. EST. Award will be based upon price and other factors. The estimated cost of the work is between $1,000,000.00 and $1,500,000.00. The contract completion time is one hundred twenty (120) calendars days. THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC OPENING OF THE PROPOSALS AND THE RESULTS OF THE ADVERTISEMENT WILL NOT BE PUBLISHED UNTIL AWARD OF THE PROJECT.
