The Air Force intends to issue a full and open competitive request for quotations to provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools and transportation to perform all operations required for the replacement of the existing air conditioning system with two new, complete, redundant systems each with total capacity of 109,100 BTU/HR. The contractor will also provide electrical modifications to transfer power supply from tech power to utility power in Building 108. A firm fixed price purchase order is planned with an expected period of performance of 45 calendar days. The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. All firms interested should respond in writing within 15 calendar days of this publication. A site visit will be held at 9:00am on 05SEP96. Contractor will complete the work in accordance with the specifications and drawings, which will be available at the site visit. Quotation response date will be close of business on 11SEP96.
