Z -- REMOVAL OF FUEL, AND RECONFIGURING FUEL STORAGE AND PIPING SYSTEMS LOCATED AT 5 MISSILE ALERT FACILITIES SOL F3260596Q1100. Due 092396. Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, materials, equipment, supplies and supervision necessary to remove fuel from underground storage tanks (deep and shallow), diesel generator day tanks, associated piping through the existing piping systems, or through tank fuel extraction points. The contractor shall pump heating and diesel fuel into fuel tanker trucks, transport the fuel from the missile facilities to Grand Forks AFB and transfer fuel through a receiving point at GFAFB's heat plant into storage tanks. All gasoline recovered shall become the property of the Contractor. All work will be accomplished in strict accordance with Technical Provisions and Drawings for JFSP 960057. Work shall be accomplished at Grand Forks AFB missile complex, ND. The performance period shall be 365 calendar days after the date of notice to proceed, with individual site POP as 30 days. Plans and specifications for this project will be issued in hard copy. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This action is being issued unrestricted.
