capability is required that will integrate with the existing Fujitsu
F9600 telephone switch as well as the existing local area network (LAN)
at Nasa Lewis Research Center. The system shall be capable of providing
an audio conference capability without the assistance of a telephone
operator, either to a telephone or to a properly equipped desktop
computer. The system shall be controlled on a server connected to the
LAN through Ethernet connection using TCP/IP protocol. System shall be
delivered with a minimum of eight ports and have the capability of
expansion of up to at least 48 ports through the addition of optional
hardware or software. Required features of the system: -Base system to
include 8-port capability with system manager software -PC tower
server-based system using pentium 100 CPU, with a minimum of 24MB RAM
and database software -Server based system to integrate with PBX, LAN,
using TCP/IP with the capability to interface with existing e-mail and
voice mail systems. -Database backup system (drive/cartridge) -Digital
and/or analog trunking capability to interface with existing Fujitsu
F9600 telephone system -Capability of end-user to set up conference
through phone system or PC -Ability to integrate with LAN, e-mail or
fax -Automatic dynamic allocation of conference ports -Automatic
outdialing at time of meeting -Automatic digital paging for meeting
attendees -Capability to control participation of attendees at
conference -Documentation on operations and maintenance at the user
level shall be provided -System set up and training shall be provided
for system manager and up to ten (10) end users Quantity 1 system,
Latitude Communications ''Meeting Place'' or equal, per the above
specifications. Optional item: Requesting that vendors quote on
additional ports for the system being offered, for possible future
expansion. Delivery to Cleveland, Ohio 44135. Delivery schedule is 30
calendar days after contract award. This is a combined
synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with
the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional
information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the
only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written
solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation and incorporated
provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition
Circular 90-37. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for
this acquisition is 3661. The Small Business Size Standard is 1000
employees. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified
Acquisition Threshold (SAT) portion of the Federal Acquisition
Streamlining Act (FASA). The following provisions apply to this
acquisition: 52.212-1 - Instructions to Offerors - Commercial; 52.212-4
- Contract Terms and Conditions and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and
Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -
Commercial Items. Offerors must include a completed copy of the
provision 52.212-3 - Offeror Representations and Certifications -
Commercial Items with their offer. All documents related to this
