65 -- REAGENTS SOL 546-19-97 POC Lorna S. Barker VA Medical Center Miami, FL is searching for sources capable of furnishing the equipment to perform a full test menu of Hepatitis testing. There will be a no charge for the use of the equipment and the contractor will be responsible for all repairs and maintenance of the equipment. The equipment should be semi-automatic in order to reduce the labor time associated with the Hepatitis testing. The equipment will allow for simutaneous washing, reagent dispensing and reading. Analyzer must be capable of running at a minimum the following test menu: Hepatitis B Surface Antigen; Hepatitis B Surface Antibody; Hepatitis B Core Antibody Total; Hepatitis B Core Antibody IgM; Hepatitis B Envelope Antibody; Hepatitis A Antibody Total; Hepatitis A Antibody IgM; Hepatitis C Antibody; Hepatitis D Antibody. This will be a one year requirements contract with a one year option to renew for the reagents required to do the testing. Potential sources are requested to submit literature which matches or exceeds the specs of the Abbott Laboratories Parallel Processing Center, Dynamic Incubator and the reagents. If no responses are received by 8/30/96 it is our intent to negotiate with Abbott Laboratories. (0228)
