(301) 619-2381 (Site Code DAMD17) The U.S. Army Medical Research and
Material Command (USAMRMC) is seeking support services to operate and
maintain a chemical and drug repository. USAMRMC drug development
program requires contract services for the receipt, storage, inventory,
distribution, documentation, and control of chemicals, bulk drug
substances and formulated drugs of interest against diseases of
military importance. Presently, there are approximately 500,000 samples
involving over 280,000 different chemical compounds in storage, and it
is anticipated that approximately 4-5,000 new compounds will enter the
program annually. Approximately 1000 samples are shipped monthly to
various screening laboratories and research investigators both in the
U.S. and foreign countries. Repository must be a single location within
approximately 30 minutes travel time by ground transportation, under
normal conditions, from Walter Reed Army Institute of Research,
