THE FEDERAL BUREAU OF PRISONS seeks to make a single award contract to the responsible offeror for the provision of hospital services for inmates located at the Federal Correctional Institution in Memphis, TN. The offeror shall make available on a non-discriminatory basis, all necessary hospital inpatient rooms, board, ancillary services and/or outpatient services, or medically necessary professional services as appropriate in a comprehensive package as required by the Government. The Offeror shall provide comprehensive inpatient/outpatient physician services to include, but not limited to, the following sub-specialty areas: Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Dermatology, Otorhinolaryngology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Pathology, Anestesiology, Internal Medicine, Chemotherapy, Cardiovascular Surgery, Detoxification, Pulmonary Medicine, Outpatient Physical Therapy, Radiation Therapy, Oral Surgery, Psychiatry, Cardiology, Urology, General Surgery, Radiology, Infectious Disease, Endocrinology, Geriatrics, Dialysis, Obstertrics and Gynecology, Neurology, Vascular Surgery, Nuclear Medicine, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and Neurosurgery. This will be a firm fixed-priced, indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery contract, with a base period from date of award through twelve months, with the possibility of four (4), one year option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for these periods are as follows: Base Year (award through twelve month period) - estimated minimum inpatient days - 14, estimated maximum inpatient days - 90, estimated minimum outpatient days - 6, estimated maximum outpatient days - 40; Option Year One (thirteen months through twenty four months) estimated minimum inpatient days - 14, estimated maximum inpatient days - 95, estimated minimum outpatient days - 7, estimated maximum outpatient days - 45; Option Year Two (twenty five months through thirty six months) estimated minimum inpatient days - 15, estimated maximum inpatient days - 100, estimated minimum outpatient days - 8, estimated maximum outpatient days - 50; Option Year Three (thirty seven months through forty eight months) estimated minimum inpatient days - 16, estimated maximum inpatient days - 105, estimated minimum outpatient days - 8, estimated maximum outpatient days - 55; Option Year Four (forty nine months through sixty months) estimated minimum inpatient days - 17, estimated maximum inpatient days - 110, estimated minimum outpatient days - 9, estimated maximum outpatient days - 60.
