The purpose of this special notice is to announce additional information about the Nuclear Tomahawk Land Attack Missile Portable Launch System (TLAM-N PLS) procurement (RFP N00024-96-R-6221). On 14 August 1996, NAVSEA posted additional information documents related to this procurement on the NAVSEA 02 Internet Web Site (http://sea02www.navsea.navy.mil), under the ``Info Docs for 6221'' heading. Documents posted are the DRAFT Sections L and M of the RFP. For companies who do not have Internet capability, please fax a request for a hard copy of these documents to Heather Jackson, SEA 02621H, at 703-602-7023. All industry comments on these sections should be received by SEA 02621H (H. Jackson) by 15 September 1996 in order to be considered for incorporation into the formal RFP. Comments should be submitted on the comment sheet distributed at the 8 May 1996 Briefing for Industry, this sheet is also posted to the SEA 02 Internet Web-Site for this procurement under file name ``Comment.doc''. The Navy will not provide responses to any comments received on the DRAFT RFP sections L and M. This is not a request for proposals, nor a promise by the Government to pay for information received in response to this synopsis. Issuance of DRAFT portions of the RFP does not obligate the Government to award a contract and does not restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach.
