Perkins, Facilities Contract Specialist, 901/747-7628 The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to replace two existing chillers and associated equipment with new chillers and auxiliary equipment as specified in the drawings and specifications, at the Dallas, TX Processing & Distribution Center, 401 DFW Turnpike. All demolition and replacement of equipment shall be scheduled between December 1996 and February 1997. Only those contractors who can exhibit satisfactory experience for a minimum of five years in the installation of equipment that meets these specifications will be considered for award. Also only those contractors who are located within 100 miles of the Dallas Processing & Distribution Center will be considered. On-site contact is Maintenance Manager Sam Gunnells (214/760-4906). Site visitation is not mandatory, but strongly encouraged. The estimated cost range is between $700,000 and $800,000, with a construction completion date of 180 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. . Cost of the plans and specifications for this project is $35 per set, non-refundable. Be sure to reference the subject solicitation number on your request.
