SIC 3845 Small Business Size Standard 500 applies. Issue date on or about August 29, 1996 at 4:00 p.m. CST. Contract Period October 1, 1996 or date of award whichever is later, through September 30, 1998. All contracts under this multiple award schedule will include an option to extend the term of the contract. The option clause may be exercised more than once, and the total extension of performance shall not exceed five years. This option is being exercised in the current contracts for a two year period (10/1/96-9/30/98) with an open season after 12 months. All extended contracts will be converted indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contracts with a guaranteed minimum of $100. for the option period. All current contracts are subject to renegotiation for the extended contract period. Industrial Funding Fee effective January 1, 1996 for all contractors. Any offers received for identical items that are equal to or lower than the current contract price, during the first open season of the extension period will be considered. Current contractors may also submit offers for identical items during this open season. Existing contractors that have identical items will be included in the competitive process. Offers received with identical items after the first open season will be rejected. See Note 12 (0229)
