The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake intends to procure a Single slot 6U VME RACE board with 6 SHARC Compute Environments, MC/OS development software, VxWorks 68K v5.1.0 Driver, VSB and Interlink Module on an other than full and open competition from Mercury Inc, 2323 Brookhaven Pass, Vista, CA 92083. The proposed contractor has unique capabilities by being the only known source to have six SHARC DPSs with an existing RACEWAY interface. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. The solicitation number is N68936-96-Q-3990 and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-37. This is a small purchase, small business set-aside, the SIC cose is 3571 and the small business size standard is 1000. Includes runtime license for each. CLIN 0002 1 ea, MC/OS Development software, model # RACE PK1F-D-18x, P/N 800#-8, Two user floating license for SPARC Host - Solaris 2.4. Includes Diagonostics, cross assembler and development toolkit. CLIN 0003 1 ea, VxWorks 68K v5.1.0 Driver, model # RACE-OSV-D-152, P/N 800-043XX for SHARC. Driver and Runtime license for single embedded VxWorks host. CLIN 0004 1 ea, VSB and Interlink Module,. model # ILKVSB2-3L, P/N 910-04016, VME and VSB RACEWAY backplane overlay. Delivery is on or before 23 Sep 96. FOB point is Destination. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial, applies to this acquisition and there are no addendums to the provision. Offeror must include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items with its offer.
