70 -- GENERAL-PURPOSE AUTOMATED DATA PROCESSING EQUIPMENT, SOFTWARE, SUPPLIES, AND SUPPORT EQUIPMENT SOL DASW01-96-R-0120 DUE 090396 POC Delene Snell, Contract Specialist, 703-681-9535 or Joyce Ellis, Contracting Officer, 703-681-0340 The Government, on behalf of the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with Cordant, Incorporated for an interim or bridge contract to continue to provide hardware platform, software, maintenance, technical services, and materials for operational Military Health Services System (MHSS). The hardware platform will support Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs), system support in highly skilled areas such as applications for Automated Information Systems (AISs) such as Defense Blood Standard System (DBSS), Defense Medical Logistic Standard System (DMLSS), Ambulatory Data System (ADS), operating systems of a unified architecture and capable of supporting a range of different users from one (1) to 25,000 for worldwide medical and hospital administrative applications. Efforts are underway to award a competitive follow-on contract and it is imperative that we have continuity of operations.
