Barker - 305-324-3285 The VA Medical Center, Miami, FL is issuing an unrestrictive, competitive, negotiated solicitation for MRI Services, on a per procedure basis, for the Oakland Park VA Outpatient Clinic. Contractor shall provide at their facility MRI exams and furnish professional interpretations and hard copy reports to the Oakland Park VA Outpatient Clinic. Contractor's equipment shall meet the following minimum standards: Magnet, not less than 1.5 tesla; spin echo; gradient echo; second and third volume modes; slice thickness 2D 1 to 20 MM; 3D 1 to 50 MM; T1 and T2 weighting; 1.5 tesla magnet and spectroscopic capability for tissue characterization and non-invasive angiography. Contractor's facility must be within a 15 mile radus of the Oakland Park VA Outpatient Clinic, 5599 N. Dixie Highway, Oakland Park, FL. It is anticipated that prices will not exceed Medicare rates.
