S -- PROVIDE SCHEDULED AND UNSCHEDULED PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE FOR CART SERVICES FOR FT SAM HOUSTON, BROOKS AFB, LACKLAND AFB, RANDOLPH AFB AND KELLY AFB COMMISSARIES IN TEXAS SOL DECA01-96-T-0775 DUE 090196 POC Purchasing Agent Dave Raymond (804) 734-8658 (Site Code DECA01) Contractor shall provide all parts, materials, equipment,and transportation necessary to provide scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance and steam cleaning of various types of carts for Ft. Sam Houston, Brooks AFB, Lackland AFB, Randolph AFB and Kelly AFB commissaries located in Texas. The work shall include, but not limited to steam cleaning to remove all accumulated dirt and grime, de-stripping equipment, repairing, replacing broken parts and plastic with new and of equal or better quality equipment, cleaning lubricating/oiling, replacing and/or greasing wheels and casters, aligning/adjusting frames and backs as needed, spot welding, spot painting, replacing safety belts, screws, nuts and bolts where needed. The period of performance will be on or about 1 Oct 1996 thru 30 Sep 1997. This solicitation will be issued on or about August 26, 1996 with a tentative closing date of 16 September 1996. This is 100% set- aside for small business. THE STANDARD INDUSTRIAL CLASSIFICATION NUMBER IS 7699 AND THE BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD IS $5.0 MILLION.
