Description of Work: NOTE: SAVANNAH DISTRICT IS CURRENTLY ENGAGED IN NEGOTIATIONS FOR THIS PROJECT UNDER THE 8(A) PROGRAM. THIS PROJECT WILL BE ISSUED ONLY IF NEGOTIATIONS ARE UNSUCCESSFUL. The project involves the upgrade of the mechanical and electrical infrastructure of an existing 38,000 square foot building. Included is a 1500 square foot addition to house mechanical and electrical equipment. Mechanical upgrades include additional chiller capacity with associated pumps and piping, addition of computer room units, and additional air handling units. Electrical upgrades include connection to emergency power, additional transformers and connection of UPS expansion of the existing sprinkler system. Network Analysis System will be required. Estimated cost range of project is from $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Charge for solicitation documents is $40. Make check payable to F&A Officer.
