Z -- PCB SITE INVESTIGATION AND REMEDIATION, MARTHA'S VINEYARD, MA SOL DTCGG1-97-B-3RX001 DUE 101596 POC Susan Hetrick, Contracting Officer (401)736-1763; Fax (401) 736-1704 PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, and supervision necessary to perform on-site/laboratory soil analysis for PCBs and site remediation at the former U.S. Coast Guard Loran Station, Gay Head, Martha's Vineyard, MA. A sufficient number of samples will be collected and analyzed so that the area of contamination can be defined. Disposal of all PCB contaminated material by total incineration shall be completed by a U.S. EPA licensed PCB disposal incinerators. The contractor shall retain professional services of a Licensed Site Professional (LSP) for site assessment and remediation evaluation. A written report of the investigation will be submitted and will include sufficient detail to meet the requirements of the State of Massachusetts and the Coast Guard. The cost of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Solicitation packages to be available on or about 13 September 1996.
