The objective of this contract will be to increase the effectiveness of surface ASW platforms by performing life cycle engineering support in such areas as signal processing software and signal processor hardware and software. The contractor shall provide analytical, theoretical, and experimental engineering and technical services for all aspects of software associated with sonar signal processing systems. Anticipate a five (5) year ID/IQ CPFF contract for approximately 73,000 engineering man-hours to include such labor categories as: Systems Engineer Levels 3, 2 and 1, Computer Scientist Levels 2 and 1 Electronics Technician Level 3, Technical Writer/Editor, Clerk Typist.
