United Space Alliance, LLC (USA), NASA's Space Flight Operations Contractor at Kennedy Space Center (KSC), FL, seeks sources capable of providing audit and review services necessary to achieve certification of the United Space Alliance's Quality System to the ISO 9000 series of standards. Services shall include, but not necessarily be limited to, quality system documentation review, pre-assessment, compliance audit, corrective action verification (if necessary) and Certificate of Conformity (upon satisfactory completion of system assessment). USA's ISO 9000 implementation team will assure that the registrar is acceptable to NASA prior to final selection. Rationale for registrar selection is that the registrar: must be accredited by RAB or IRCA, must have a confidentiality agreement with employees, contracted assessors and any subcontractors (if used), should have aerospace industry experience, be competitively priced, have good industry reputation, large company experience, be willing to provide profiles of their qualifications/experience and listing of references, be willing to provide a description of the registration system including an application, the appeals process and policy regarding registration suspension, withdrawal or cancellation, should have NHB or MIL-Q quality system experience, have a good reputation for customer service, be a well-established organization and should not use subcontractors for the performance of their audits.
