Contracting Officer, Warren Saul, 415/329-4168, FAX 415/329-5480 The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for operations and maintenance services for the new Earth Science/Library building (McKelvey Building - Building 15) at its Western Region Center in Menlo Park, CA. Contractor will provide management, supervision, labor, equipment, and materials/supplies for an office/lab building that is approximately 155,000 square feet. The overall operations and maintenance contract will include repairof mechanical systems and equipment. Services will also include preventive maintenance, inspections and tours as appropriate, and emergency repairs and service calls on a 24-hour basis. A site tour will be conducted as outlined in the RFP. The procurement will be for one base year, with four (4) one-year options. Contract type: Firm, Fixed Price/Time and Materials. Bid guarantee and performance bond required. A $25.00 (approximate) charge is required for each set of solicitation documents, plus postage.
