The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to award a nonpersonal service contract to the qualified individual or business capable of providing psychiatry services to the inmate population housed at the Federal Detention Center, and the Federal Correctional Institution, Arkona Rd, Milan, MI. Services include but are not limited to: performing medical specialty care in the area of psychiatry, evaluate and treat all cases referred to him/her by the medical staff, write reports for the medical staff, obtaining written permission of inmates prior to placing them on psychotrophic medications. Requirements include: doctor of medicine with a residency program completion in the area of psychiatry. Licensed to practice in the state of Michigan. The contract period will include a base year, not to exceed twelve months from date of award, with four, one year option periods for renewal. This is a nonpersonal service, not to exceed 30 hours per week, and not a personnel appointment.
