This solicitation consists of 10 miles of intermittent repairs (3 sites), including gabion faced walls, structure and drainage. Project includes: construction survey & staking; temporary traffic control; 1 acre clearing & grubbing; 40 cuyd structural concrete footings; design & construct concrete bridge superstructure; 900 tons untreated aggregate courses; 70 lnft 24'' culvert; 130 lnft 36'' culvert; 600 hrs flagging; 9,000 sqft gabion faced walls; and 100 lnft bridge railing. Project is located approximately 50 miles east of Mount Vernon, Washington in the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. Work shall be completed by December 1, 1996. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
