This procurement will increase the scope of engineering Contract N00024-95-C-5406 with Hughes Missile Systems Company by adding manhours to support the PHALANX Radar Surface Structure Thermal Testing and Analysis effort. Hughes is the primary contractor for the design agent improvement efforts for PHALANX CIWS and is the only firm with the requisite knowledge to complete the effort.
