70 -- MAINTENANCE OF TIVOLI COMPUTER SYSTEM Due 083096 POC David Fouche, Contract Specialist, (910) 432-7670, Jane H. Sutherlin, Contracting Officer, (910) 432-2146 This contract action is for annual maintenance of Tivoli computer system for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Maintenance for Management Database Annual Maintenance (Part Number MDB-MNT, 2200 each); Tivoli Management Framework (Part Number TMF-MNT, 25 each); Tivoli/Admin (Part Number TA-MNT, 25 each); Tivoli/Sentry (Part Number TS-MNT, 25 each); Tivoli/AEF (Part Number AEF-MNT, 1 each). This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source contract to Tivoli Systems, Austin, Texas 78759 for the maintenance on the items cited above. Offerors who can furnish the required maintenance for the items for the period 1 October 1996 through 30 September 1997, may submit, in writing, a proposal substantiated by technical data, brochures, etc. to include price (FOB Destination). All responses must be received within 15 calendar days of the date of this CBD notice. No telephone requests will be accepted. Requests for a solicitation will be considered non-responsive. All responses from responsible sources submitting the required information will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent or otherwise request a copy of the solicitation. No contract award will be made on the basis of any responses to this notice, as the synopsis of intent shall not be considered a solicitation document. (228)
