The IRS-Martinsburg Computing Center intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with VION Corporation, 1055 Thomas Jefferson St, NW, Washington, DC in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 for hte following: CLIN 0001 System Point/CF base console system with interface card - 2 EA; CLIN 0002 System Installation, 2 EA; and CLIN 0003 Hi-Con/2 Software, 2 EA. This remote console system allows remote monitoring and control of the Hitachi Data System GX Processor. All responsible sources may submit written responses containing sufficient technical documentation to establish capacity to meet requirement. The documentation shall include a GSA Contract No., if applicable, firm prices and descriptive literature containing sufficient technical documentation to establish a bona fide capability. All responses must be received in writing within 15 calendar days of publication of this notice. No solicitation document exists, therefore, a request for such document will not be considered. If no affirmative written responses to this notice are received an award will be made under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. (232)
