99 -- NOISE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM SOL DTFA05-96-R-40323 DUE 082896 POC Nadene Fontano (718) 553-3080 Contracting Officer The Federal Aviation Administration has a requirement to purchase and install a Noise Suppression System at four (4) Air Route Surveillance System (ARSR-4) sites located throughout the Eastern Region. The system is to consist of hardware for the receiver 4-Bay Sound Suppression System, Hardware for the Transmitter Sound Suppression System, Installation of a Transmitter Sound Suppression System, Field Supervision and Sound Level Testing. Installation is expected to begin on/or about September 9, 1996. The FAA will issue a Screening Information Request (SIR), DTFA05-96-R-40323, to one known vendor and to four (4) additional interested offerors. Prospective offerors should be experienced in the installation of similar projects and financially secure. SIR's will be issued on a ''first come basis''. Offerors have until August 28, 1996, to submit their request for the SIR to the attention of Nadene Fontano, via letter to the above address or fax to (718) 995-5685. Telephone requests will not be accepted. A maximum of five (5) SIR's will be issued for this project. Requests received after the five (5) SIR's are issued or after August 28, 1996, will be forwarded an Eastern Region's Qualifying Screening Information Request for future similar projects. (0233)
