R -- SPONSORSHIP/DONATIONS FOR THE POLAR BOWL TURKEY/HAM SHOOT SOL SVS-SCS-81-96. Due 101596. POC Tracy Barbour, 907/552-5823, FAX 907/552-9250. We are soliciting in-kind donations or sponsorship for our Turkey and Ham Shoots to be held, respectively, 1 Nov thru 27 Nov and 1 Dec to 23 Dec at the Polar Bowl. Participants from 20 to 25 leagues will be bowling for strikes in select frames to win a turkeys, hams and/or other prizes. The value of the sponsorship would be approximately $3,000 to cover the cost of 100 turkeys and 100 hams. We would accept all or part of the items requested, depending on the sponsor and what they can provide. The sponsor will be allowed to display banners and information at the event. Advertising in all areas on the base will be done. Representation from the sponsor for the event be accepted and encouraged. All offers will be considered. More than one sponsor/donation may be accepted and additives will be considered. Requests for copies of this solicitation must be received not later than 15 Oct 1996. This is a solicitation for commercial sponsorship/donation by a nonappropriated fund instrumentality of the United States Government. It does not obligate appropriated funds of the Government. (233)
