Drawing 209-033-129-3 REV A, Applicable to the AH-1 Aircraft. FOB
Destination with required delivery of 22 ea to New Cumberland, PA 3 ea
to Stockton, CA, deliveries starting 420 days ADC at 5 ea and then 10
ea per month thereafater until completion. Delivery of First Article
Test Report 408 days ADC and deliveries of 5 ea beginning 630 days ADC
and 10 per month thereafter. Delivery without First Article would
begin 420 days ADC beginning 5 ea & 10 per month therafter. This
procurement requires prequalification. All responsible sources may
submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Authority
and justification is FAR 6.302-1, Only one Soure or Only a Limited
Number of Responsible Sources. This proposed contract actions is for
supplies for which the Government does not have specifications and
drawings to permit full and open competition; however, it is restricted
to approved sources Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc., and Helicomb Int'l
Inc. The time required for approval of new supplies is such that award
and delivery cannont be delayed pending approval of a new source.
Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for
future solicitations IAW the instructions contained in Section L of the
solicitation. Information on meeting of qualifications may also be
obtained from ATCOM, ATTN: AMSAT-R-EB, address as shown. See notes 23
