Solicitation to be issued October 26, 1996. A sources sought synopsis appeared in the June 28, 1996 issue and no capability statements were received, indicating that Pitney Bowes is the only source able to provide this service. Equipment is located on site at SSA Headquarters (Baltimore, MD), Model 8300 Micro-processor controlled inserter Serial #2489 and Model 8320 Serial #3696. Contractor shall provide on-call remedial repair service and preventive maintenance service with a 4-hour response time during the Principal Period of Maintenance (PPM), which is 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., local time, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays observed at the installation.
