The proposed award is intended to acquire, under an energy savings performance, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract, energy conservation services to reduce the use of fossil energy by substituting renewable energy and energy efficiency measures and to reduce associated utility costs, including operations and maintenance costs, as specified in delivery orders. Minimum DOE obligation will be $10,000 and maximum of $20,000,000. The contractor selected shall be responsible for providing all labor, materials and capital to install renewable energy systems comprised of large diameter, line focussing, parabolic trough solar collector systems and associated energy conservation technologies as specified in each delivery order's term, as well as maintenance as specified within each delivery order. The scope of the contract includes all Federally owned facilities located in the United States, unless otherwise restricted by each delivery order.
