SL-96-77-BK. Work shall include installation of new 6000 sf of epoxy seamless floor in animal care facility at the Brooklyn VA Medical Center, Bldg. No 1. Work includes substrate preparation and application and removal of existing paint and all unsound material to accommodate new epoxy floor and integral base. Preparation of surface, mix and application of each component of resinous flooring systems shall be in accordance with manufacturers' specifications. Install floor in five (5) separate phases. Contractor shall be responsible for moving cabinets, carts, cages, and other equipment including disconnecting nd reconnection of plumbing fixtures. Material shall be guaranteed for a period of five (5) years. All work shall comply with AAALAC codes. This solicitation is issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program and is open to both large and small business participation. The applicable SICC is 1762.
