S. Coast Guard is seeking qualified sources that can provide repair of
400' WAGB Bearing, Split Roller, Self-Aligning, NSN 3110-01-048-0583.
Delivery to be made to U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center,
Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. It is the Government's belief that only
Cooper Bearing Company can provide the repair of the split roller
bearing. Technical data and/or drawings pertaining to Cooper Bearings
are not available within the Government and are proprietary to Cooper
Bearing Company. However, other potential sources having the expertise
and required capabilities can submit such data discussing the same in
dupicate within 15 days from the date of this announcement. The
following information must be provided to evaluate the acceptability of
the offered repair; 1) Complete and current engineering data to
demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e. salient
physical, functional and serviceability characteristics, or 2) Data
that the offered parts have been satisfactorily manufactured for the
Government or the original equipment manufacturer. No cost or pricing
data is required. See Numbered Note 12, 22, and 26. All responsible
sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency.

(DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utiliztion (OSDBU)
has a program to assist minority, women-owned, and disadvantaged
enterprises to acquire short-term working capital assistance for
transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT
Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide
accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
