apparatus/hooded demand valves must be currently certified by the
National Institute of occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and have
no adverse customer reportings to that organization, provide a minimum
of 15 minute flow rate at 60 liters per minute preference is for loose
fittings masks vs. tight fitting, unit to be worn over the should and
comfortable carrying weight, all parts (plastic, metal, fabric, and
composites) must be compatible with both hydrazine and dinitrogen
tetroxide and its mixtures, or at least be willing to provide materials
for testing, units should not require pressurization over 4500 psi to
obtain the 15 minute period of operation, must have a standard
recharging orifice, all major components failures must be disclosed in
advance of purchases by the manufacturer along with pricing data and
replacement intervals for parts subject to failure, cylinder width must
not exceed seven and one half (7 1/2'') inches, successful vendor must
train and certify Vandenberg AFB technicians on the service and repair
of all provided equipment and provide the required testing equipment
vendor data, and material and parts listing and current pricing
