Competitive RFP Solicitation No. DAAB07-96-R-J653 for a three year contract with two, one-year options for the Army's first generation, thermal imaging common module production base, in support of PM Apache, PM Tanks, PM Tow, and PM BVFS. This solicitation will allow for two technically acceptable manufacturers of Optically Improved Detector-Dewars to each win 50% of the basic requirement, with guaranteed minimums of approximately 500 units per contractor for the first three years, while years four and five are optional with no guarantees.
