The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center/Norfolk, Detachment Philadelphia intends to procure test kits for the Naval Hospital Great Lakes on a sole source basis from Abbott Laboratories pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. The following quantities and types of Abbott Laboratories' test kits are to be procured: 336 (each) 1B53-21-Test Pack Plus Strep A with OBC Kit, 4 (each) 2027-25 - Test Pack RSV With Control, 720 (each) 3A60-16 - Test Pack Plus HCG. Abbott Laboratories is the only known source capable of providing the required test packs. All responsible sources may submit concise documentation as to ability to provide the required test packs as well as financial and technical information which shall be considered by FISC Norfolk, Detachment Philadelphia. Note, no contract award will be made on the basis of information received in response to this notice. Further, the Navy will not pay for any information provided.
