The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has a requirement to purchase a Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Software using the procedures in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items. This will be a firm-fixed price type contract for one (1) year with six (6) option years. The FEA software shall be capable of analyzing mechanical engineering designs for stress and heat problems. The FBI intends to issue a Request For Proposal (RFP) - 7034 to include all items and specifications. Requests for this solicitation must be in writing and postmarked no later than fifteen (15) calendar days of this publication to Melissa L. Brady, JEH-FBI Building, Room 6875, 935 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20535. Any request postmarked after the 15 days will be subject to the availability of solicitation packages.
