Alternate A requires dredging Egmont Channel, Cut-1, Tampa Harbor, Florida, from Station 330+00 to Station 468+50 to a required depth of 45-feet plus 2-feet allowable overdepth removing approximately 1,422,000 cubic yards of unclassified material. Alternate B requires dredging Egmont Channel, Cut-1, Tampa Harbor Florida, from Station 330+00 to Station 468+50 to a required depth of 43-feet plus 2-feet allowable overdepth removing approximately 858,000 cubic yards of unclassified material. All dredged material will be placed in the designated ocean disposal area located approximately 13 miles south of Egmont Channel. The work includes Endangered Species Monitoring, Turbidity Monitoring, Sea Turtle Population Survey, and Sea Turtle Trawling and Relocation. The Governmant will award either Alternate A or Alternate B. Magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000 to $10,000,000.
