Ponce, Contracting Officer (505) 784-2888 This is a presolicitation notice for a Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements (SABER) Indefinite Quantity, Indefinite Delivery contract at Cannon AFB, NM. This project is 100% set aside for 8(a) firms registered for construction (SIC code 1542) in New Mexico. the offerors will be required to furnish all materials, equipment, labor, and personnel necessary to plan, design, manage, and accomplish the jobs. The jobs will vary in size with the majority expected to be of a small to medium size. The jobs will include tasks in a variety of trades such as carpentry, fencing, road repair,roofing, excavation, interior and exterior electrical, steam fitting, plumbing, sheet metal, painting, demolition, concrete masonry, and welding. Projects will be in support of real property maintenance, repair, alteration, and/or new construction. The magnitude is between $100,000 and $5,000,000 for the first year, with four one year option periods. Maximum value for all five years of the contract will be $25,000,000.
