This proposed contract actions is for supplies for which the GOvernment does not have specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition; however, it is restricted to approved source McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Co, Mesa, AZ 95205, and Fenn Mfg. Co., Newington, CT 06111. The time required for approval of new supplies is such that award and delivery cannot be delayed pending approval of new source. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations IAW the instructions contained in Section L of the solicitation.
