The Defense Information Systems Agency intends to negotiate with Mazda Computer Corporation for the purchase of licensing for Change Action Software to be installed on an IBM 3090-200J and on an IBM 3090-400J. Components of this software include 1) Tracking Component, 2) Controls Component, 3) Reference Tracking Component, 4) INFO/Interface, and 5) LULU Component. Sole source for this product is based on this being the only known software capable of providing these componens in a single product and complete interoperability with the existing system. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. Responses must be received within 15 days from the date of this publication. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended vendor, and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent, or otherwise request a copy of the solicitation. Interested sources may respond by written request furnishing clear and convincing data substantiating their ability to furnish the Government's requirement, including technical and pricing data.
