Z -- SSA IWS/LAN DUE 091796 POC Contact,Kip Sheppard,303/236-7230 The GSA, PBS, Rocky Mountain Region is seeking potential sources for an upcoming ongoing project for the Social Security Administration (SSA) in the states of Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming. The scope of work will be to furnish all necessary supervision, labor, tools, and materials to provide complete electrical and IWS/LAN (internal wiring system/local area network) under one or more indefinite quantity contracts. More specifically the work includes installing IWS/LAN cabling from a LAN equipment rack location to workstations and printers, providing receptacle and data outlets, labeling and testing of data and power cables, conduit and wiring, modifications to existing electrical and data systems and removal of existing electrical and data systems. The is potential for interior architectural alterations and related work where space modifications are necessary for the installation of systems furniture. Other work will be performed by a SSA systems furniture contractor and a SSA IWS/LAN equipment vendor. Consequently, work within this contract must be coordinated accordingly. Potentially there are 26 projects in Colorado, 10 in Utah, 10 in Montana, 6 in Wyoming, 5 in North Dakota, and 5 in South Datoka over the next 24 months.
