The Electronic Combat Development System Office (ASC/LN) published a Notice of Contract Action on 12 Aug 96 in the Commerce Business Daily announcing the release of the AN/ALE-47(V) Request for Proposal (RFP) on 30 Aug 96. This Special Notice is to clarify the announcement published on 12 Aug 96. Firms must comply and respond to the 12 Aug 96 CBD announcement in order to receive a copy of the solicitation. This applies even if your firm has previously submitted a request for the solicitation prior to 12 Aug 96. The 12 Aug 96 announcement incorrectly stated the ASC/LNWQ FAX number as (513) 255-4598. The correct ASC/LNWQ FAX number is (513) 476-4598. The PIXS is also now available on the World Wide Web at http://www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil/page2.htm. To obtain a copy of the solicitation please submit your request to ASC/LNWQ either by mail at ASC/LNWQ Bldg 28, 2145 Monahan Way, Wright-Patterson AFB OH 45433-7017, or by facsimile machine via FAX number (513) 476-4598. No telephone requests will be accepted. The request must also include a copy of DD Form 2345. If you currently have a copy of the TDP on CD-ROM, the copy must be mailed back to ASC/LNWQ. Requests must be received by ASC/LNWQ by 28 Aug 96, in order for solicitations to be mailed on 30 Aug 96. Requests received after 28 Aug 96, will be processed as quickly as possible but the due date for proposals WILL NOT be extended. Those firms who presently have a copy of the TDP on CD-ROM must return it in order to receive a copy of the solicitation. ASC/LNWQ recommends the CD-ROMs be returned to ASC/LNWQ by ''certified mail return receipt requested''. The updated copy of the TDP (previous copy is obsolete) will be mailed as part of the solicitation on 30 Aug 96 to the data custodian identified in Block 3 of the DD Form 2345.
