M -- OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE OF MULTINATIONAL AIRCREW ELECTRONIC WARFARE TACTICS FACILITY (POLYGONE) SOL F61521-96-B-5012 DUE 091396. POC Ms. Sheri J. The U.S. Air Force requires operations and maintenance (O&M) support for radar and communications equipment and other support services for government furnished electronic warfare equipment at fixed sites within Germany and under deployment conditions throughout Europe. The O&M effort will require the contractor to perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of equipment, and have the ability to deploy mobile maintenance teams. Contractors will also be required to provide job control, planning & maintenance teams, and scheduling & material control support. The security requirement for the offeror awarded the contract is U.S. Secret. A 2-month phase-in period is projected beginning 01 Oct 96, with basic contract performance beginning 1 Dec 96. The acquisition will be IAW two-step sealed bidding (FAR 14.5) procedures. Step one has been completed and ITT Federal Services International Corp., Lockheed Martin Training and Technical Services, and Metric Systems Corporation submitted technically acceptable proposals and are eligible to proceed to step two.
