M -- OPERATION OF JOB CORPS CENTER SOL RFP 2-97-JC-22-36 POC Contact Stanley Belza, 212/337-2281 Request for proposals (RFP) for the continued operation of the Iroquois Job Corps Center, located in Medina, New York, will be a cost reimbursement type contract. Performance will be judged against established program performance measures. The center serves 156 resident students (103 male, 47 female). In July 1997, the center will start a build-up to a capacity of 240 resident students (120 male, 120 female). RFPs will be available approximately September 16, 1996 for issue in response to written requests. It is anticipated the resultant contract will cover the period April 1, 1997 through March 31, 1999. There will be an opportunity for three one year government unilateral options for extension after the base two years depending on performance and other factors. The pre-proposal conference will be held on September 26, 1996 at 9 a.m. in the cafeteria of the Iroquois Job Corps Center, 11780 Tibbits Road, Medina, New York. A tour of the center will follow the conference. Interested offerors should limit their attendance to 4 persons. RFP No. 2-97-JC-22-36 is due on November 12, noon local time to the address in item number 7. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency. (0239)
